Everything Sauce and the Benefits of Cashews

What is the perfect topping for everthing?….

While Almonds and walnuts tend to get most of the attention, if you ask me, cashews deserve some glory, too.

With a rich, buttery flavor and an impressive list of health benefits, cashews are one of the unsung heroes of a healthy eating lifestyle. They’re packed with protein, healthful fats, and vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. These include vitamins E, K, and B6, along with minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium, all of which are important for maintaining optimal bodily function.

And I probably don’t have to tell you that in addition to being a powerhouse of nutrients, they’re delicious too and the main component of my Everything Sauce.

What is Everything Sauce?

I call this everything sauce because I literally put it on everything. From salads and veggies to pastas, meats and more. Believe me, you’ll always want to have this dressing on hand. I like to to freeze half the batch and pull it out just before the first half is gone.
