Golden Milk Latte & Antioxidant Rich Turmeric

Spices like Turmeric have been used for centuries in Chinese and Indian (Ayurvedic) medicine for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. They are gut biome healing powerhouses, and tasty, too!

The antioxidant properties of spices have the ability to stop those free radicals that damage cells and lead to inflammation.Turmericis definitely one of those life-enhancing spices that you should stock in your cupboard at all times.

How is Turmeric life-enhancing? Well, not only is it a brilliant color (thanks curcumin), but  Turmeric is also an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anti-bacterial, anti-cancer, wonder spice! Turmeric has been used to treat everything from allergies, arthritis and diabetes, to autoimmune diseases, liver disease and even Alzheimer’s… mic drop. (right?).

Seriously, fill your home with spices and herbs because ounce for ounce, herbs and spices are extremely potent compared to other foods. Adding just a few spices and herbs to your food, even your morning latte, can amp-up the antioxidant power of any meal. I used Turmeric in this deliciously healthy and healing Golden Milk Latte and it’s so delicious; my new favorite drink!
