Have you added mushroom to your morning blend yet?
One of the rockstars of the “mushroom coffee” and “mushroom tea” community is the chaga mushroom and not surprisingly because it is packed with loads of health promoting benefits.
Did you know the chaga mushroom is one of the highest sources of antioxidants?
And for the athletes of the community, chaga mushrooms have also been shown to reduce inflammation, stimulate the immune system and improve physical endurance.
That’s one mighty mushroom and certainly worth a try in this Chaga Morning Smoothie blend.
Not to mention this smoothie is also filled with other health-promoting ingredients like fiber full banana, antioxidant rich cacao and ultra-hydrating coconut water.

Chaga Morning Smoothie
- 1/4 cup coconut or hazelnut milk
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1/2 frozen banana
- handful of frozen cauliflower
- 1 Tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon chaga
- 1 teaspoon reishi
- *optional – strong shot of cold espresso
- *optional – stevia, monk fruit or dates to sweeten
Combine ingredients in a high-powered blender and puree until smooth. Any trouble blending, just add a little more liquid (coconut water, non-dairy milk, coffee, your choice).
I added a frozen cube of hazelnut milk to keep my Chaga Smoothie cold with out letting it get watery.
Don’t have a high-powered blender? Allow the cauliflower to thaw a bit first and you should be good!
