Walnuts look oddly similar to the human brain… coincidence? I think not! One of the greatest benefits of walnuts are the nutritional benefits and support they provide the brain. A tried and true “brain food”.
Not only do walnuts provide support to your precious brain but they’re also a mood-boosting nut thanks to the impressive amount of omega-3 inside each handful. And if that wasn’t enough, walnuts also support the heart by lowering triglyceride levels, reducing dangerous plaques providing all around protection for your heart.
And if you’re trying to lose weight, skip the diets and stave off hungry with the healthy fat provided by walnuts.
Among their many great benefits, walnuts also contain a whole host of nutrients including manganese, copper, magnesium, phosphorous, Vitamin B6, folate and thiamine
